A great birthday!

I spent my birthday at a yearly retreat in Phoenix.  It used to always be scheduled during my birthday, but then they started having it later in February.  This year because of a scheduling conflict with the hotel, it was back to my birthday.  I spent a few days in Tucson visiting a friend there first. 

Even though I prepped my 5X7 supplies, I didn't actually create it until I got home.  

I used all found embellishments. I liked the little exclamation shaped button!  These aren't works of art, but make me work at art.  Another 5X7 challenge participant linked to this great video of Elizabeth Gilbert at the TED TALKS.  It's very much worth the 20 min. video.
